Meet our Team
Bryan Barnhart
Bryan founded Lake Shore Global Solutions with his brother, Tim, in 2017. As President and CEO, Bryan is responsible for the oversight of business operations. Bryan got his start as an entrepreneur in the commercial construction business. Bryan is distinguished from his peers by his ability to seek out opportunities and implement successful business strategies. His employees respect him as a “hands-on” leader who can often be found behind the wheel of his Peterbilt 389.
Tim Barnhart
Tim founded Lake Shore Global Solutions with his brother, Bryan, in 2017. Tim attended Cathedral Preparatory School and is a 2000 graduate of Penn State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Management. After college, Tim spent seven years in senior management of a commercial construction business. Today, Tim serves as CFO and is responsible for the business operations, business development, information technology, and accounting departments. Tim is very active with the Shriners and Shrine Hospital; he is currently a board member of the Shriners Hospital for Children Erie and a trustee of the Zem Zem Shrine Club.
Brad Whitley
Brad joined Lake Shore Global Solutions in 2017 to start our Charleston, South Carolina operations. Brad earned his Bachelor of Science in International Business with a minor in Global Logistics and Transportation from the College of Charleston. Before joining LSGS, Brad spent 15 years handling sales and operations in the project forwarding industry. Brad is responsible for overseeing our Charleston, South Carolina and Houston, Texas operations.
Brandie Bernatowicz
Brandie was instrumental in the startup of Lake Shore Global Solutions in 2017. She earned her Bachelor of Finance in 2006 and Accounting in 2011, as well as a Master of Organizational Leadership, all from Mercyhurst College. Brandie started her career in 2008 in healthcare before transitioning into the transportation industry. At LSGS, Brandie serves as the controller and is responsible for all business operations including accounting, billing, and HR functions.
Brandon Exley
Brandon joined Lake Shore Global Solutions as the Director of Business Development in November of 2018. Previously, Brandon spent nearly a decade in commercial banking. As the Director of Business Development, his day-to-day role focuses on overseeing the company’s sales, marketing, financial planning, analysis, and mergers and acquisitions activity. Additionally, Brandon oversees the company’s data analytics and business intelligence platforms. He served in the United States Marine Corps infantry from 2000 to 2004.

We didn’t include the term “Global Solutions” in our name by accident; with a footprint like ours, your vendors and international customers will not have to worry about shipments arriving at their rightful destination at the time they are required. LSGS offers a variety of premium freight forwarding services, including air and ocean freight forwarding. These methods are complemented by a number of additional capabilities, including air charter and consolidation as well as the ability to ship Full Container Loads (FCL) and Less Than Container Loads (LCL).
LSGS specializes in the full spectrum of shipping solutions, including areas of project cargo, warehousing, and domestic transportation. In addition to providing specialized customs brokerage and other value-added services, our company is capable of providing cargo management services that span a wide variety of storage capabilities and warehousing solutions, from creating packing lists and crating to the actualized delivery of heavy lift and industrial-sized cargo. Our domestic transportation solutions are just as impressive as our international shipping capabilities, with a history of transporting both Full Truckloads and Less Than Truckloads, as well as both dry bulk and liquids.
